Ian Somerhalder is a 36 year old actor on The Vampire Diaries. He was born in December 8,1978. His parents are Edna, a massage therapist, and Robert Somerhalder, an independent building contractor. He is the second of three children, with an older brother, Robert, and younger sister, Robyn. He attended St. Paul's, a private Catholic school in Covington. He embarked on a modeling career from age 10 to 13,and by the age of 17 he decided to go into acting. I love Ian because he's such a caring and nice person when he's not acting. On the 6th season of The Vampire Diaries he was thinking of leaving it to go on the Fifty Shades Of Grey,but they couldn't replace him so he decided to stay. I'm glad he choose to stay because he is the best loving actor there is.
